SBU Makara Training

Makara Training Center is intended as a center of community service for PT Makara Mas in capacity building of human resources (HR) to the wider community outside the campus, for the government (central and local government), business entities (state and private), non governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as for the public. The need for capacity building is increasing every year. In the other hand, potential of human capacity owned by University of Indonesia become magnitude for many institutions.  PT Makara Mas acts as a bridge for two parties and conduct a variety of training activities.

Training activities organized by PT Makara Mas could be a training initiative of PT Makara Mas based on community needs and training on demand by outside campus community in a variety of fields. Training activities organized by PT Makara Mas is special and has not been met by existing institutions in University of Indonesia. The trainers are competent in their respective fields. Trainers come from the University of Indonesia and experts outside the campus.

By adopting the concept of MOVE (Moderation and Visualization for Group Events) developed by InWEnt (Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung GmbH) with the main principle in the form of facilitation, visualization, and experiential learning and also the application of Minimum Training Standards (SMP). PT Makara Mas organizes training with attractive packaged and can meet the needs and expectations of the participants. This facts is proven by the results of the training participants evaluation held by PT Makara Mas.

PT Makara Mas certainly can not walk alone in organizing training, but usually PT Makara Mas cooperates with various parties, both from internal and external parties of University of Indonesia and both domestic and foreign institutions. Some institutions which cooperate with PT Makara Mas in training activities including Ministry of Finance RI, UK Low Carbon Support Programme, Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG), etc.
